Periodical Title List

To learn whether or not Andruss Library provides access to a specific periodical title, search the Periodical Title List.

Does the Library Have Access to this Article (Citation)?

If you have a citation to an article, book, and so on, use Citation Linker to see if the Library has it. Here is a sample citation to an article:

Kauppinen, A. (2012). Meaningfulness and time. Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, 84, 345-377 doi:10.1111/j.1933-1592.2010.00490.x

In fact, if you have a doi (digital object identifier), then all you need to do is enter the doi into the Citation Linker to obtain the full-text, if the Library has it.

Does the Library Have Access to this Journal?

Search the Periodical Title List  for a specific magazine, journal, or newspaper as shown below:

Enter the name of the journal (or newspaper or magazine) into the search box, NOT the title of the article. If the library has the journal, the results will indicate if it is online or in print:

  • If the journal with the article you want is online, you can click on the link for the database/vendor that has the date of the issue you need.

  • If the journal with the article you want is not online (that is, it's in print format), you can click on the link for Andruss Library Holdings to see if the library has the issue you need and where in the library it is:

Bound Periodicals (hardcover, more than 1 year old) - 4th floor
Current Periodicals (soft cover, approx. 1 year old or less)– 2nd floor
Microforms – 1st floor

You can make copies using one of the coin-operated photocopiers on the 1st - 4th floors or the coin-operated microfilm readers on the 1st floor.  The Library also has a new microform scanner on the 1st floor near the Research Center.
