Books (online and print) of Andruss Library are organized by Library of Congress Subject Headings.  If you are searching for books (print and online) on jobs, careers, and professions at large in BU Books & More, some useful subject headings with which to search may include the following.

Often times, the subject heading for career guidance / information on a career in a particular profession follows the format below.

         [Profession] - "Vocational Guidance"

For example, the subject heading for vocational guidance for would-be psychologists is:

Psychology --Vocational guidance.

The subject heading for vocational guidance for would-be writers is:

Authorship --Vocational guidance.
