How do I find a DOI?

Most times the DOI for an article will be listed in the database citation, like so:

or on the article itself, usually at the bottom of the page, like so:

If neither of those methods work, trying searching for the DOI on the Crossref website:

Still can't find a DOI? Then it is likely a DOI was never assigned.

Reference Management Systems

Bloomsburg University pays for access to these reference management tools, which help you organize and cite your research when writing.

Print Guide

The following print style manual is available in Andruss Library:

  • APA Style (6th ed)- Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.
    Used in the social sciences (education, health sciences, psychology, business, etc.). APA style requirements and examples for all types of information sources are listed. Available at the Circulation Desk of Andruss Library (1st floor)
