Guidance on Public Speaking

A significant aspect of this course is your ability to effectively communicate your thoughts, ideas, and discoveries through various means.  In addition to written communication, each student must effectively present her or his research findings in an in-class presentation.

If you feel at all in need of any guidance for public speaking, please feel free to seek me out.  Although I make no claim that my guidance is or should be universal, I am an experienced public speaker, and have taught public speaking skills to numerous audiences.  You are free and wlcome to seek my guidance on public speaking, then accept or reject any of that guidance.

Hand Gestures

Here is a brief video on one of the core aspects of public speaking: use of one's hands.
