Material that has been in circulation for more than 30 days is also subject to recall upon request. Recalls must be placed by Access Services staff at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor. Patrons will be notified when material has been returned either by phone, e-mail, or mail as per stated preference. Recalled material will be held at the Circulation Desk for seven days.
Please remember that holds are not recalls. If you have placed a Hold on material you will not be notified that it is available until it has been returned. This could be up to twelve months. Therefore, if time is a factor, you are advised to initiate a Recall on an item rather than place a Hold on it. You also may request the item through EZBorrow or Interlibrary Loan.
